The idea behind the design of this necklace was to try and showcase one of Ireland most famous symbols, to achieve this it made so much sense to allow the knot to cradle these beautiful natural gemstones, to draw in the eye, and you can see how the highly polished sterling silver sweeps down around the gems. The reason we wanted to showcase the trinity knot is because of all its meaning, its not just a beautiful design, it represents the eternity of love as there is no beginning and no end, and so it has also become known as the celtic love knot.
The trinity knot is one of the most important Celtic symbols, representing the never ending circle of life and love as it has no beginning and no end, constantly weaving and in this case dancing and sparkling in the light.
