Brazilian Amethyst – We choose a top grade Brazilian Amethyst for this ring.  The reason we wanted to go with Brazilian Amethyst is that it’s almost as if Mother Nature threw a dash of pink into the purple colour of the amethyst, giving it a really rich warm colour, but with all the presence of that strong amethyst purple.

The trinity knot is one of the most important Celtic symbols, representing the never ending circle of life and love as it has no beginning and no end, constantly weaving and in this case dancing and sparkling in the light.  It can be found in ancient Irish manuscripts, and is also said to represent the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  In Ireland we are so blessed to be surrounded with a rich heritage of art and symbolism.  To be able to use a design like the trinity knot, which is 1000s of years old, to represent such powerful sentiments as the ETERNITY of life and the ETERNITY of love is such an honour and a privilege.
