Black Spinel – The colour of the night sky, beautifully faceted to catch the light, and contrasting amazingly well with the halo of simulated diamonds or stars that surround it.  The black spinel is a classic, beautiful gemstone, the elegance of the black and white contrast is just lovely to behold.

The trinity knot is one of the most important Celtic symbols, representing the never ending circle of life and love as it has no beginning and no end, constantly weaving and in this case dancing and sparkling in the light.  It can be found in ancient Irish manuscripts, and is also said to represent the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  In Ireland we are so blessed to be surrounded with a rich heritage of art and symbolism.  To be able to use a design like the trinity knot, which is 1000s of years old, to represent such powerful sentiments as the ETERNITY of life and the ETERNITY of love is such an honour and a privilege.
